Following the epic conclusion of Phase 2, Marvel have announced new details of their exciting third phase, which now includes a sequel to this year’s surprise hit, Ant-Man.

Ant-Man and The Wasp will see the return of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) as they continue to kick ass with microscopic acuity. The film, which is slated for release on 6th July 2018, marks the first time that Marvel have ever named one of their studio films (in part) after a female superhero.

The arrival of this latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe has meant that certain other projects, already confirmed for Phase 3, have had their release dates adjusted. Black Panther has now been shifted to 16th February 2018, while Captain Marvel has been pushed back to 8th March 2019.

A further three (as-yet-untitled) films will also premiere on May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020, respectively.
