NME magazine will be available to collect for free at the University starting this Friday

Entertainment publication NME is launching a new free magazine this Friday, which will be available at more than 500 locations across the UK, covering 85 towns and 46 cities.

Copies will be hand-distributed at 49 universities across the UK every Friday, including the University of Southampton. The publication will also be handed out in 26 rail stations and 64 tube stations.

As well as these weekly hand-outs, the magazine will also be available to pick up at any time of the week in 140 branches of Topman, 121 HMV stores, 13 Academy Music Group performance venues and 75 independent record shops.

Details of the first issue’s content will be revealed later this week. The locations of all 500 pick up points can be viewed on this interactive map.
