SUSU’s Ballroom and Latin society are searching for contestants for Strictly Southampton

0

The University of Southampton’s very own Ballroom and Latin dancing society have started their search for contestants of this academic year’s Strictly Southampton.

The aim of the contest is to take a handful of SUSU committee members (2 female and 4-5 male contestants) from non-dance societies and team them up with one of the society’s ballroom and latin professionals, who will teach them a routine for a show in February 2016.

The routine will be performed in front of an audience, as well as a panel of four judges, in the same format as BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. The audience will select the eventual winner.

If you’re interested in applying to become a contestant on this year’s Strictly Southampton, email your name, height, and contact information to Ballroom and Latin’s Publicity Officer, Ashleigh Moore ([email protected]).
