The Weinstein Company have released the first teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s much anticipated new western, The Hateful Eight.
Filmed with a mesmerising 65mm lens, the film follows a group of bounty hunters, travelling together across Wyoming in a stagecoach. After getting caught in a wintry blizzard, the group seeks refuge at a haberdashery, where they are forced to confront the ratcheting tension between them.
The film features an all-star cast, including Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Demian Bichir, Bruce Dern, and Channing Tatum.
In keeping with Tarantino’s passion to keep celluloid film alive, the film will receive a limited 70mm US release in December. In the UK, meanwhile, The Hateful Eight is set to be released on 8th January 2016.
