Rise of the Tomb Raider will be coming to PS4 and PC in 2016, Square Enix has revealed.

The sequel, which is a timed Xbox exclusive, will be a console exclusive for a year and will come to PS4 in late 2016.

Meanwhile, it’ll be released on a PC format sometime in spring 2016, a few months after the 10th November release date given to Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Last year developer Crystal Dynamics said that Xbox exclusivity would “put Tomb Raider on top of action adventure gaming”, with Xbox adding that it would be for the good of the series.
The sequel will take players to multiple locations around the world, filled with exploration spaces that are described as some of the most beautifully hostile places on Earth. The Tomb Raider reboot was released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2013, and saw a re-release on PS4 and Xbox One early last year.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will come to Xbox and Xbox 360 on 10th November.
