Full length trailer for Steve Jobs movie is released – watch

Back in May, the first teaser for Danny Boyle’s take on Apple man Steve Jobs was uploaded to the web. Now we’ve been granted trailer 2.0 – which proves to depict a more rounded look at the movie.

With a script by Aaron Sorkin, based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of the man, Steve Jobs focuses on three big moments in his corporate life: the launches of the Mac; NeXT (which was introduced after he was removed from the company); and the iPod – the game-changing MP3 player that he spearheaded after his triumphant return.

This new trailer shows a lot more of the supporting cast, as well as a more in-depth look at Michael Fassbender’s portrayal as Jobs. Seth Rogen’s Steve Wozniak questions his contributions to the original development of the early Apple machines, while Kate Winslet plays marketing chief Joanna Hoffman – one of the people who must wrangle Jobs’ deity-sized ego.

Katherine Waterston is Jobs’ ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan, who confronts him over his negligent parenting of daughter Lisa (Perla Haney-Jardine), while Jeff Daniels also features as Apple executive John Sculley, who frequently clashed with Jobs.

Will this show the full Steve Jobs – unveiling each side, the dark with the light? We’ll have to wait and see, but if this trailer is anything to go by, it certainly isn’t holding back when it comes to tackling the complexity of the man.

Steve Jobs is set to be released on 13th November.
