Electronic duo Disclosure have released a video for their new single ‘Holding On’. The track has been lifted from the pair’s upcoming album, Caracal.

The track features guest vocals from Gregory Porter, the winner of the 2014 Grammy for best jazz vocal album, Liquid Spirit.

The accompanying visuals serve as a six-minute long look into a dystopian future, where character Mariela attempts to help a rebel group reclaim their city from oppressive soldiers. The video was shot in Mexico City and directed by Ryan Hope.

Disclosure took to Twitter to explain their new video: “We wanted to create something very different with our music videos this time around… something unique that would connect all the songs from the album and the videos in a special way.”

This is the first of a series of four amazing videos directed by Ryan Hope that come together to create a short film… ‘CARACAL’. As each music video comes out… The plot unfolds. Hope you enjoy!

Caracal is the duo’s follow-up to their 2013 debut Settle. Disclosure have shared that “there’s some amazing singers on there, from all over the place,” promising fans a number of talented guest vocalists. Lorde recently revealed that she is “making tunes” with Disclosure, while the duo have also teased new collaborative material with Sam Smith.

Caracal is set for release on 25th September
