NBA Draft prospects do their best dramatic Drake readings – watch

Last night brought about the annual NBA Draft at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, NY. This is the night when young basketball players find out whether NBA teams deem them worthy enough to play in the league.

But before selections began, a select few draft prospects took part in a video where they performed their best dramatic Drake readings in a video for Bleacher Report. Drake is a massive Toronto Raptors fan and at the end of 2013 was named as the team’s global ambassador, entrusted to make the franchise “cool again”.

In the two-and-a-half minute video, prospects such as Myles Turner, Kevon Looney, Cameron Payne and Emmanuel Mudiay can be seen reciting lyrics from Drake hits like ‘Started From The Botton’, ‘The Motto’, and ‘Make Me Proud’ – which is the hit track featuring Nicki Minaj.

You can watch the light-hearted video below.
