Neil Young streams his latest album in full ahead of release

Neil Young‘s 36th studio album, The Monsanto Years, is now available to listen to online.

The 69-year old singer-songwriter recorded the album alongside Promise Of The Real – a rock ‘n’ roll group lead by the sons of Willie Nelson, Lukas and Micah. Young has publicly condemned agricultural firm Monsanto for years and this record features protest songs aimed at the controversial company.

A documentary film about the making of the record has also been produced which is . It it set to be released alongside the album.

The Monsanto Years will be released on 29th June, but is available to listen to in full now via NPR.
