Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour is quickly becoming synonymous with surprise special guests, often in the form of her model and music video friends, as well as one-off duets with well known musical guests.

On Friday night (12th June), Swift brought out ‘Bad Blood’ co-stars, Mariska Hargitay and Cara Delevingne, onto the runway stage during a performance of ‘Style’ at her Philadelphia show.

Hargitay is best known for her performance in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Olivia Benson – the character that Swift, a self confessed fan, named her adored cat after. Meanwhile, Delevingne is the model of the moment, having recently appeared in campaigns for huge fashion labels such as Chanel, DKNY and Burberry. She is also set to star in Paper Towns – the latest film to originate from author, John Green.

Swift expressed her delight on her personal Instagram account, posting a picture of the three women onstage together. The caption read; “Couldn’t even contain my happiness because @caradelevingne and @therealmariskahargitay surprised the crowd tonight.”

But Delevingne and Hargitay were not the only surprise Swift had in store for her fans, as the singer was also joined by Echosmith for a performance of the band’s hit song, ‘Cool Kids’.

Earlier in the month, Swift was joined on stage in Detroit by Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds, to sing a surprise duet of the band’s hit 2013 anthem ‘Radioactive’.

Swift will be bringing her 1989 tour to the UK on 27th June at Barclaycard’s British Summertime festival in Hyde Park.
