There’s “not enough money in the world” for a Jam reunion, says Paul Weller

Legendary rock ‘n’ roll artist Paul Weller has completely dismissed the chances of any future reunion with The Jam or Style Council.

The Jam split back in 1982 and Weller has since gone on to have an equally successful solo career. The Modfather recently dashed the hopes of millions however, by going as far as saying that there’s “not enough money in the world” for any sort of reunion. He said to The Guardian:

I’m not a nostalgic person. I like now. I like today. I don’t want to spend my time trying to recapture something that can’t be recaptured.

Instead of dwelling on the past, Weller is focusing on future projects; “I love this new record and I loved the last one and I’m looking forward to making the next one,” he said.

Weller has recently released his twelfth solo studio album in the form of Saturn’s Pattern. He has also announced that he will be going on tour in the UK in November. The eleven-date tour is as follows:
