Florence + the Machine announce UK and Ireland tour

Florence + the Machine have released a string of tour dates for later this year, that will see them playing at venues throughout the UK and Ireland.

The How Big Tour will celebrate the release of the band’s third album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, which includes a track –  entitled ‘Queen of Peace’ – that was recently named as Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac’s Hottest Record. It was also announced that the LP entered the UK album chart this week at the coveted number one spot.

Florence Welch and co will perform in a number of cities this September including Dublin, Manchester and Nottingham. The tour will conclude with four dates at London’s Alexandra Palace.

As well as embarking on said tour later this year, the band will also perform huge festival slots this summer at Glastonbury and Benicassim.

Florence + the Machine will play the following dates this September:

9th – Belfast, Odyssey
10th – Dublin, 3 Arena
12th – Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena
14th – Glasgow, SSE Hydro
15th – Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
17th – Nottingham, Capital Arena
18th – Manchester, Manchester Arena
19th – Birmingham, Genting Arena
21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th – London, Alexandra Palace

Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (12th June).
