Pixar release first teaser trailer for The Good Dinosaur – watch

Disney Pixar have finally released the first teaser trailer for their long-anticipated animation, The Good Dinosaur.

The one minute long teaser poses many “what if” questions; What if the asteroid that impacted Earth millions of years ago, never happened? What if the dinosaurs survived until the age of man? And most endearingly, what would happen if a dinosaur and a human became friends?

The film follows a curious Apatosaurus named Arlo (voiced by Lucas Neff) who forges an unlikely friendship with young caveboy, Spot. The two find themselves far from home, and must work together to get back to their families.

The film was originally supposed to arrive in cinemas last year, but due to directorial and story changes, production was considerably delayed. The movie will now be directed by Peter Sohn, who has previously worked as an animator on several Pixar projects including The Incredibles and Ratatouille.

The film also features the vocal talents of John Lithgow, Bill Hader, Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris and Frances McDormand.

The Good Dinosaur is set to be released on 27th November.
