New York duo MS MR, have confirmed details for their upcoming second album, in addition to sharing a new video for their latest single ‘Painted’.
The new record will be titled How Does It Feel (the album artwork for which can be seen on the right) and serves as the follow-up to their debut album Secondhand Rapture – which featured the popular singles ‘Hurricane’, ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Think Of You’.
How Does It Feel was recorded in New York and Los Angeles alongside music producer and mix engineer Tom Elmhirst, who has been credited on a number of highly successful albums including Adele’s 21.
Their new single ‘Painted’ is set to feature on the new record. The video, which has just been released online, is a surreal, Kubrickian piece of art. Speaking about the visuals the duo have said:
“We wanted to explore the juxtaposition of natural and unnatural environments and what happens when they’re forced to reckon with one another. The end result is a virtual reality psychedelic experiment gone awry – welcome to the odyssey.”
How Does It Feel is set for release 17th July.
