Unlikely news was confirmed earlier today when it was revealed that Paloma Faith has been cast in a new ITV drama.
The drama will be a contemporary re-imagining of JM Barrie’s Peter Pan novel, entitled Peter & Wendy, where Paloma Faith will portray Tinkerbell.
Faith will join the likes of Oscar-nominated Stanley Tucci, who will play Captain Hook. She will also be joining newcomers Zac Sutcliffe and Hazel Doupe who are taking the lead roles.
The drama will open in Great Ormond Street Hospital, where a young girl is awaiting treatment for a serious heart condition. Through her mother reading the story of Peter Pan, the girl’s thoughts switch between her dreams of Neverland and her struggles at the hospital.
The drama will be two hours long and is currently in production.
