Claude Littner is hired as Lord Sugar’s aide on The Apprentice

On Monday (27th April) it was announced that Claude Littner will be joining Baroness Karren Brady in series 11, where he will be following the candidates on there journey as they battle to win Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment deal.

Littner is a former Amstrad director and has known Lord Sugar for over 25 years. He was Deputy Chairman of Blacks Leisure and is a visiting professor at the University of West London, Claude Littner Business School.

In December, at the end of Season 10 of The Apprentice it was announced that Lord Alan Sugar’s right hand man and fan favourite, Nick Hewer, would no longer be doing those infamous eye rolls as he be leaving the show. After a decade of working on the show, Hewer stated that his ‘stamina is not to to those long week’ of filiming.

For avid fans of the The Apprentice Claude Littner will be a familiar face on the show. He is the man that all candidates fear at the interview stage of the show as he is imfamous for his put-downs and telling it like it is. Last year he did not allow candidate Soloman Akhtar to talk or discuss his ideas in his interview after discovering that his business plan just consisted of different sized logos of boats.

The Apprentice returns to BBC One later this year.
