Dutch singer Caro Emerald has just revealed a new UK tour to take place in late November and early December this year.
Emerald scored a number 1 album on the UK Top 40 Chart in 2013 with her second studio album The Shocking Miss Emerald whilst her first album, Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor reached a peak of 4 in 2010. Her first album broke a record in her native Netherlands, topping the Dutch charts for 30 weeks, and taking a record that had belonged to Michael Jackson. Her second album has been certified Gold in the UK and she is currently working on a third studio album, set to be released later this year to coincide with the tour.
Her tour will see her visit cities up and down the country, including London, Plymouth, Bristol, Liverpool and Manchester. For Southampton residents, your closest venue will be the Bournemouth International Centre.
Emerald had some help in revealing the news, with Southampton student Dan Linstead exclusively revealing the news of the tour, live on Twitter, after winning a competition to find her biggest UK fans.
Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday 24th April.
