Blissfields, the much loved family music festival situated in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, recently confirmed over 50 artists as it announced a second wave of acts.

The festival, which takes place this year on the 3rd and 4th of July near Winchester, has previously confirmed that indie-rock band The Horrors will headline alongside John Grant and Simian Mobile Disco.

Mercury prized nominee Ghostpoet has been added to the line-up following the release of his new LP Shedding Skin which The Guardian described as “compelling and thoughtful.” He will be joined by ‘Say Something’ singer Karen Harding. Blissfields folk favourite Beans on Toast has also been confirmed to return.

Other acts confirmed include Tambour Battant, Isle of Wight-based Plastic Mermaids and DJ Madam X.

The festival organisers say this year’s line up “creates one of the most versatile and tactile programmes the festival has ever curated.”

Blissfields, now in its 15th year, has a ‘Somewhere in Time’ theme for this year’s event. Tier 2 tickets for Blissfields have now sold out, with Tier 3 tickets still available. To purchase tickets, visit the Blissfields website.
