Bradley Cooper to make directorial debut

Bradley Cooper is set to make his directorial debut with a remake of A Star is Born.

According to Deadline, the star is currently in negotiations with Warner Bros. to direct the remake which he is likely to also feature in.

The remake was initially going to be directed by Clint Eastwood back in 2012, with Beyoncé confirmed to take the leading role. However, the film was then filed away in favour of Eastwood directing Jersey Boys.

According to Deadline, efforts are being made to get Beyoncé back on board for the role.

The film was originally released in 1954, before being remade in 1976.
