Blissfields Festival in Winchester have announced the first wave of acts playing the 2015 festival.
Indie-rock band The Horrors will be bringing their own brand of indie-pop and playing a headline set at this years event. Eight years on since they first appeared on the front of NME and with their fourth studio album released last year, the band have a hugely succesful and varied career which they’ll be briniging to the Blissfields main stage.
Fresh after a series of sold out shows at The Royal Festival Hall in London John Grant will be taking to the Blissfields stage for the first time. Simian Mobila Disco will also appear in a late night live slot on the main stage, alongside the legendary Grandmaster Flash, Glass Animals, Eton Messy and Public Service Broadcasting will also appear throughout the weekend.
After 15 successful festivals, this year Blissfields will be themed “Somewhere in time”, with brand new and bespoke installtions which will be themed around the four-dimensional world.
