Warner Brothers announces future LEGO franchise games

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group announced a few days ago their plans for the 2015 releases of the LEGO Franchise of games.

In the press release the group announced that they will be releasing console games based on the Jurassic Park franchise, and a further game based upon the characters of Marvel’s greatest heroes – the Avengers.

They also announced the release of a third LEGO game for handhelds in 2015, based upon the Ninjago toys. In addition to all of these games for consoles, the group announced that they will be releasing The LEGO Movie Videogame and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham for mobile devices.

LEGO Marvel Avangers will focus on the events of both 2012’s Marvel’s Avengers Assemble and the hotly anticipated 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron and will be released in autumn of 2015.

LEGO Jurassic World is set to follow the story lines spanning the films Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III and the upcoming cinema release Jurassic World. The release of  LEGO Jurassic World was anticipated by those who have played LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham as it was teased at the end of the game. 

This game will be released in June 2015. Both games will be available on Playstation 3, 4 and Vita, the Wii U, 3DS, Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.
