Top Gear release trailer for new series – watch

Top Gear have released a trailer for their new series, which will be airing later this year. A date has yet to be set for the start of the series, but viewers can expect to see the same old mischief from hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.

In the two-minute clip, the presenters, set and audience are all built out of Lego. All three are faced with various problems leading up to the transmission of one of their shows, as Hammond keeps standing on and getting stuck to various other Lego pieces, whilst May struggles to locate his hair. Clarkson, meanwhile, is trying to locate the Stig’s body, as he can only find the test-driver’s head and legs.

A show spokesperson said that all of this is quite normal behaviour:

“In this behind-the-scenes clip, we can reveal exactly what goes on just before the boys appear on TV but in a parallel Lego Universe!”

The 22nd series of Top Gear will air later this year.
