Secret Garden Party announce first wave of artists

Secret Garden Party have announced the first few acts in their roister for 2015.

This includes the up-and-coming London funk collective Jungle, busking poet Kate Tempest, and the French ensemble Caravan Palace. Rising British stars Marika Hackman and Jack Garratt have also been confirmed. Hackman recently supported Alt-J at Alexandra Palace so will most likely be one to watch in the new year.

Flyte, Iyes, Jagaara, Elder Island, and Menace Beach complete this years first wave of artists.

From humble beginnings, the Secret Garden Party has grown with a friendly ethos, connecting with a new generation of festival goers that want more than a £6 pint and a 3 day hangover. The festival combines music, art, and theatre, showcasing artists before they hit the big time, such as Jake Bugg, Lily Allen and London Grammar. With a string of awards and an ever growing support base, this festival is one to consider if you can’t stand the crowds at larger festivals like Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.

With Jungle headlining, this festival is an all-round winner already and, with many more acts to be announced, you’re more than likely to find something for you, all for the reasonable early bird price of £150.

So, even though it may not be a secret any more, one thing is certain, the Secret Garden Party will be the party of the summer.
