Bond film title and cast will be announced later this week

The title and cast of the upcoming 24th James Bond film will be announced this Thursday (4th December) in a live event.

The event will be broadcast live from Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where films in the James Bond franchise have been filmed since their inception, commencing at 10:50am on December 4th, 2014.

The title of the film will be announced just after 11:00am, and will be followed by a formal photocall with the newly confirmed cast.

@007, the official Bond twitter, will be liveblogging up to and releasing announcements during the event. 007.com will also be live streaming the event.

Lead actor Daniel Craig has been confirmed to return to the film in his fourth venture as secret agent James Bond, with Skyfall’s Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinear also reprising their roles.

Christoph Waltz, who yesterday received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been recently rumoured to play the upcoming film’s villain. This follows reports that Cannes Film Festival Winner Léa Seydoux and Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista have been cast in roles as well.

The untitled James Bond film will be released by EON, MGM and Sony Pictures on 23rd October 2015.
