Love Saves The Day 2014 updates line-up

Big news reeling from the Love Saves the Day camp this week: the current UK number one singer-songwriter Kiesza is to replace Clean Bandit on the Saturday (May 24th) of the festival to grace the Bristol crowd with her deep-house infused pop.

Hideaway – the London based songwriter’s recent single – captures the vibe of this eclectic festival perfectly and is sure to be a crowd favourite. Topping the UK charts with its driven pre-summer groove, after strangley being plonked on SoundCloud in January, it seems that the hype surrounding Kiesza is heating up as we move into the summer months, making her a great addition to the already bold line-up over the weekend.

Clean Bandit will now be playing on the Sunday after being added to the line-up at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Glasgow.

Now, this is a big one. The iconic, national-treasure, Mike Skinner will be appearing on the Digital Soundboy stage on the Sunday of the festival. The producer/rapper/ songwriter/director – just to name a few – will take the stage in the form of his garage-house-clad DJ self. Check out Skinner’s April ’14 mix here for a slice of what’s to come.

With these announcements Love Saves the Day has become the front-runner in the battle of the festivals over the May weekend with We Are FSTVL trailing just behind, leaving us wondering – will there be further announcements to come? Either way this is going to be an amazing weekend for music-lovers across Britain.
