Big Top line-up and afterparty update

The date of Junk Department‘s new Festival, Big Top, is quickly closing in, and with it more announcements are coming in thick and fast. Here’s a quick roundup of the latest details that you need to know to make sure that you don’t miss out.

On the 3rd of May, Stoneham Park, in Eastleigh will play host to Junk Department’s The festival consists of a main stage, housed within the titular Big Top, and headlined by the likes of Jamie Jones, Maya Jane Coles and Dyed Soundorom, as well as two more club tents, hosted by Southampton locals, Future Garden, and Portsmouth based Concrete Music. The two club tents will also feature their own headliners, Max Graef and Karma Kid, respectively.

VIP Tickets are also on-sale, which entitle the holder to an Access All Areas pass and a free bar in the recently announced VIP tent. The VIP tent itself boasts its own exclusive roster of artists, including Gary Benneton, Moe West, Dan Reid, Boule, Steve Night, and a secret guest.

Festival goers can choose to continue their partying into the early hours of Sunday morning, with a choice of three afterparties hosted at some of Southampton’s best known venues. Ben Pearce, Darius Syrossian and Flashmob, head up the offering at the Mo Club Warehouse; Shonky, Laura Jones and Gavin Herlihy top the bill at TRiPP; whilst Hannah Wants, My Nu Leng, and the Eton Messy DJs will take charge at Vodoo Lounge. Afterparty tickets will be prioritised to those who have already purchased day tickets to Big Top.
