This year BBC’s big teen music event brings you today’s most current artists live to Wembley Arena. The BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards this November will be featuring live performances from Rizzle Kicks, Tinie Tempah, James Arthur, Icona Pop, Jessie J, and with all new material, Fall Out Boy.
This annual music event, now in its fourth year, will celebrate the best of 2013’s teenage entertainers from music artists, to actors, to sports stars. The awards, which are being presented by Radio 1 Breakfast host Nick Grimshaw and British pop icon Rita Ora, will include; ‘Best British Song’, ‘Best British Solo Artist’, ‘Best British Group’, ‘Best British Actor’, ‘Best British Sports Star’ and ‘Best British TV Show’.
However, despite the high profile celebrities on site, the main focus of the event will be on the Teen Hero Awards. The Hero Awards will see three well deserved teens recognised for being brave, selfless, performing charitable acts in aid of friends, family or their community, and on the whole being truly inspirational.
Although tickets are reserved for teenagers between the age of 14 and 17, this event will be broadcast live, on air, and online, straight from the Wembley Arena on the 3rd of November. Definitely an event worth checking out!
