The Great Escape adds Everything Everything to 2013 line up

Mercury Music Prize nominees Everything Everything have been added to the line up of Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival.

This year’s festival will take place over 30 venues in the city from the 16th-18th May, with over 350 bands and artists set to perform. It is now internationally recognised as the leading new music festival in the UK, showcasing talent from around the world.

Artists also announced as joining the line up include bubblegum pop diva and BBC Sound of 2013 nominee A*M*E, soul singer Lulu James, Welsh post-hardcore six-piece The Blackout, indie quartet Tribes, Californian rockers Deap Vally, and 2007 Mercury Music Prize winners, Klaxons. These artists join those already announced, who include The Midnight Beast, Bastille, The 1975, Tom Odell, Iggy Azalea and many more.

The Great Escape convention will also return this year, hosting a series of industry talks and networking sessions featuring industry professionals and music business fans.

Early bird tickets are still available for the festival for £45, with one and two day festival passes going on sale tomorrow. The full line up can be seen here.
