BRIT Awards Nominations Revealed

The nominations for the 2012 Brit Awards were revealed today (January 12th) at a launch party for the accolades in London, hosted by Radio 1 DJ Greg James. The awards ceremony is due to take place next month at the capital’s O2 Arena.

Leading the nominations is singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who is in the running for four awards including British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year. Chart-toppers Adele and Jessie J are just behind Sheeran with three nominations each, with British bands Florence and the Machine and Coldplay and American artists Aloe Blacc and Bon Iver each on two.
