Chicago’s best known punk eco-warriors Rise Against’s long awaited collaboration with the West-coast punk band Face to Face is set to hit the world May 10th in the form of a split seven inch. The vinyl will consist of the two bands covering popular songs of each others’ works. Last year Face to Face’s front man Trever Keith tweeted:

“I’m recutting my vocal for Rise Against’s ‘The Good Left Undone’ for the split side vinyl release we’re doing together.”

Rise Against are contributing a cover of Face to Face’s ‘Blind,’ giving old school fans something to get excited about as it will give the band a chance to re-embrace the gritty sound they emerged from the hardcore punk scene with in their early career.

The record is being promulgated on the back of the popularity of Rise Against’s latest album- Endgame and in anticipation of Face to Face’s seventh studio album – Laugh Now, Laugh Later, due for release on May 17th.

Head over to Folsom Records’ online store to listen to clips of the two tracks, which have been posted as part of the pre-order marketing campaign: http://folsomrecords.bigcartel.com
