Alt-rock band Don Broco are set to perform their final gig of 2016, taking to the stage of  The Forum (Hatfield, Hertfordshire) as part of the Blax Xmas Ball on 17th December. It will mark the last gig of a busy year for the Bedford-born boys, drawing the year to a close in their home-territory after months of extensive touring and summer festival slots including Britain’s biggest rock festival, Download.

Launched into the alt-rock stratosphere with their debut album Priorities, after releasing their first and only EP ‘Big Fat Smile’, the Bedford quartet climbed the ladder with a handful of low-positioned features on festival bills and acting as support for a myriad of other bands, including Young Guns and You Me At Six. Now, in 2016, the band have garnered together an impressive, dedicated fanbase and have headlined notable festivals and gigs, such as Kerrang! tour 2015.

The band’s sophomore album Automatic was released in mid-2015 to critical acclaim, and was praised for its expert blending of catchy riffs and bullheaded lyrics, all wrapped firmly together with the distinctive voice of Broco-brilliance. Spawning from its release, the band have filled their time with an extensive UK tour, playing the entirety of both their acclaimed debut album Priorities, and Automatic with double-dates at each venue, slots at various festivals, and have released a new single, ‘Everybody,’ ripe with pounding guitar riffs and growling vocals.

As part of the Blax Xmas Ball Enter Shikari Sound System will be heading the afterparty to stretch out what promises to be an electric night.

Tickets for the Blax Xmas Ball are available here. Gig-only tickets are £18.70 and gig-plus-afterparty tickets are £22.00.
