After an eighteen-month hiatus, acclaimed rock band You Me At Six will be returning to the stage, playing Southampton’s O2 Guildhall as part of their recently announced October UK tour.

Night People, the British quintet’s upcoming album, will mark the band’s fifth studio album, having reached critical and mainstream acclaim with their first, Take Off Your Colours, back in 2008, which boasted hits of the likes of ‘Save It For The Bedroom’ and ‘Finders Keepers’. Launched into the pop-punk stratosphere, their third studio album Sinners Never Sleep was certified gold, the first album of theirs to include released singles of different genres, alt-rock (‘Loverboy’), heavy rock (‘Bite My Tongue’), and softer rock (‘No One Does It Better’). The album also launched a near sold-out arena tour which was met with renowned praise.

The band have toured extensively with rock veterans such as Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds To Mars, and Paramore, and won the Kerrang! Award for Best British Band in 2011, taking home the award for Best International Band at this year’s APMAs as well. “We’re really proud of this one,” the band remarked on their social media of Night People, which comes as their first album since 2013’s Cavalier Youth.

“Over the past 10 years there has been so many special moments, and we can’t wait to play up close and personal with you again – These will be some of the smallest shows we’ve played in the UK in forever” the band said of their upcoming October tour.
