Oxford-raised band Glass Animals are going to be returning to their hometown for a concert on the 21st of October which Pixx will be headlining.

Members Dave Bayley, Drew Macfarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer and Joe Seaward are childhood friends from the age of 14. They formed the band whilst still in school, released their debut EP Leaflings whilst at uni and after capturing the attention of acclaimed producer Paul Epworth, were signed onto WolfTone Limited in 2013. They released their debut album, Zaba, through the label in 2014 and singles Gooey, Hazey and Black Mambo are well worth listening to.

The band has recently released singles Youth and Season 2 Episode 3 ahead of their forthcoming album How To Be A Human Being, a concept album which follows an overarching story line featuring different characters. By coming to hear the band you should expect a completely fresh sound, a mix of indie and electronic beats, along the lines of Chet Faker and Alt-J. Other dates to go watch the band live include Bestival on the 8th of September, an appearance at the Dome in Brighton on the 22nd of October, the Roundhouse in London on the 25th of October and many more.

How To Be A Human Being comes out this Friday, August 26, via Wolf Tone Limited.

Tickets can be purchased online for £16.50 by clicking here and you can listen to Youth below.
