Canadian rockers Sum 41 are the headliners for this year’s Kerrang! Tour 2016. The five-piece pop-punk group will be playing eight shows between the 10th-19th February.

The Kerrang! Tour 2016 kicks off in Dublin at The Academy, before moving on to Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Norwich and Manchester before finishing at London’s O2 Forum in Kentish Town. Support on the tour will come in the form of Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, ROAM, and US rock ‘n’ rollers Biters.

Sum 41 made a name for themselves with their debut album All Killer No Filler, which consisted of tracks such as ‘Fat Lip’, ‘Motivation’ and ‘In Too Deep’. The record peaked at number seven in the UK album charts, their highest album placing this side of the Atlantic, and at number 13 on the US Billboard 200 chart. ‘Fat Lip’ is the band’s best performing single to date, peaking at number eight in the UK singles chart and topping the US Alternative chart, all the way back in 2001.

Sum 41 were originally meant to be on the Kerrang! Tour in 2012 but unfortunately had to pull out due to an injury to frontman Deryck Whibley’s back. The group will be looking to make amends as they headline this year’s tour.

The Kerrang! Tour 2016 is now completely sold out.
