Irish funny man Ed Byrne will embark on his mammoth ‘Outside, Looking In’ tour on the 13th January, travelling up and down the UK and making audiences near and far cry with laughter. This tour will see Ed reflecting on everything from life as a father and husband, to feminism and transgenderism.
Amongst the plethora of performances the Dublin-native will be doing are shows locally in Winchester at the Theatre Royal on the 21st January, Portsmouth on the 23rd January at the New Theatre Royal, and Southampton at the O2 Guildhall on the 19th March.
Byrne is a popular and familiar face on the UK comedy circuit, building his career around observational comedy and social satire. To date he has completed three sell-out UK tours and six sell-out Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows. As well as his stand-up, he will be known by many as a guest on comedy panel shows including Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You, whilst also making numerous appearances on Live At The Apollo.
