Oxford-based folk rock quintet Foals will be coming to Southampton’s O2 Guildhall as part of their sold-out UK tour in promotion of their fourth and most recent full-length album What Went Down.
Fronted by the famously animated Yannis Philippakis, Foals have toured internationally and previously taken to stage at the Glastonbury, Coachella, and Roskilde festivals.
Supporting act Real Lies, a London-based electronic pop group, are also performing in support of a new record. Their eponymously-named debut album was recently released in mid October.
What Went Down looks set to become as successful and well-loved as Foals’ other albums. Tracks like ‘My Number’, ‘Spanish Sahara’ and ‘Inhaler’ are staples in the popularised indie rock scene. Foals will also be undertaking a UK arena tour in February 2016.
All dates of Foals’ headline UK tour are now sold out. Doors at 19:00.
