Celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut album Voyage of the Acolyte, to his newest release Wolflight and with a hint of Genesis revisited; Steve Hackett’s 2015 tour has been described as “the total experience” for fans of both his solo work and his work within the legendary progressive rock band.

Steve Hackett gained prominence and recognition as lead guitarist of Genesis, who he joined in 1970. He left the band in 1977, embarking on a solo career and has released several albums and toured worldwide on a regular basis since. He is well regarded within the rock community – especially amongst guitarists – and is known to have influenced such guitarists as Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Alex Lifeson (Rush) and Brian May (Queen).

Hackett’s 2015 ‘Acolyte to Wolflight with Genesis Revisited – The Total Experience’ tour began at ZeltFestival, Bochum, Germany on the 2nd of September, and will run through till the 11th of December finishing at The Portage Theater in Chicago, IL.

Hackett is a welcome face to the O2 Guildhall, having last performed at the venue last autumn.
