Preview: Fearless Vampire Killers at The Joiners (22/05/15)

Theatrical alternative rock five piece Fearless Vampire Killers are swooping into Southampton at the end of May. The band – comprising Laurence Beveridge and Kier Kemp, vocals and rhythm guitar; Drew Woolnough, bass; Cyrus Barrone, lead guitar; Luke Illingworth, drums – have been touring in support of Black Veil Brides across the UK and Europe through most of March.

In the past the band have played with Madina Lake, Tonight Alive, Chiodos, and other bands of note, as well as playing Download 2012 and 2013 and making an appearance at this year’s Takedown Festival (links for reviews below).

Fearless Vampire Killers are often mistakenly categorised as part of the ’emo-pop rock’ movement; in fact their music is far more romantic in a thematic sense.

Fearless Vampire Killers released their second full length album, Unbreakable Hearts, on 3rd November 2014 to mixed critical opinion.

The band will also be joined by underground alt rock groups Zoax and Myth City.
