Drenge are Rory Loveless and Eoin Loveless. The British rock duo form Derbyshire play an NME Awards Show that takes place in London this February. (2015)

The band had been picked up by national media in early 2013 but rose to prominence following the resignation of Labour MP Tom Watson from the Shadow Cabinet in July. Watson wrote in his resignation letter on his blog “be that great Labour leader that you can be, but try to have a real life too. And if you want to see an awesome band, I recommend Drenge.”

Since then they have toured extensively in the UK appearing at Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival and Reading and Leeds Festival. They also toured with Peace in late 2013 proving they’re only moving upwards in the British music scene.

Written and recorded on tour last year, second album Undertow is released through infectious records on the 6th April 2015. The album is being led by the newly released single ‘We Can Do What We Want’ which is available for instant download for those who pre-order the album. The single is an explosive and punchy addition to Drenge’s already grunge reputation and hints to what to expect from Undertow.

Tickets for their upcoming tour can be bought here.
