This Wednesday, Bournemouth is being treated to a night with modern rap and hip-hop sensation Professor Green.

The solo artist began his tour on November 28th in Glasgow, before making his way around the North of the country, touching upon the Midlands, and heading South. This Wednesday, Bournemouth will be his penultimate tour date, before he makes a final stop in London, Thursday evening.

Professor Green’s third and latest studio album Growing Up in Public, which was released in September, can be expected in his set list. The album features notable appearances from the likes of Tori Kelly, Mr Probz, Rizzle Kicks, Example, and more. Growing Up in Public’s well-established lead single ‘Lullaby,’ featuring singer-songwriter Tori Kelly, is sure to be saved for a splendid finale. The single debuted in the top 5 of the singles chart, sold over 200,000 copies, and has been streamed over 2.5 million times on Spotify. Excitingly, another song from the latest album is due to be released: Virgin EMI will release ‘Little Secrets’ as a single on December 7th.

Professor Green embarked on a shorter tour in May, as well as making other appearances (e.g. Leicester Music Festival) recently. This year, the star has been in media limelight for, not only his music, but also his marriage to socialite Camilla ‘Millie’ Mackintosh, whom he married in 2013.

As for this Wednesday, it would not be surprising if some classic Professor Green songs like ‘Just Be Good to Green’ and ‘Read All About It’ from past and successful albums At Your Convenience and Alive Till I’m Dead were performed. Rap and grime artist, Wretch 32, who will also be releasing his third studio album shortly, will be supporting the Professor.

Professor Green’s sharp lyrical talent and impressive freestyle reputation should not disappoint. Roll on, Wednesday!

Professor Green’s latest album is available on iTunes for £8.99
