Bestival’s Comedy Line-Up Revealed

0

Bestival’s world of wonder grows ever wilder as a new kind of castaway – our very own insane clown posse – washes ashore to join the Desert Island Disco. Ramping up the side-splitting action in the splendid Spiegeltent each day between noon and 6pm, there will be a cavalcade of comedians, put together by the crack comic squad Get Comedy, that’s guaranteed to make you do an actual LOL.

Rob da Bank says: “There’s always so much to do at Bestival, sometimes even I don’t know which way to turn, but one thing you should definitely make time to check out is the comedy in the Spiegeltent. The line-up this year is top-notch with Nina Conti, Abandoman, young whippersnapper Daniel Sloss and our old mate Andrew Maxwell being just a few highlights from a line-up that includes some of the maddest funny people around”.

World-renowned comedian and ventriloquist Nina Conti, who has been blowing crowds away with her audience participation-based routine tops a list of Bestival comics, comedians and clowns that also includes the frankly magnificent freestyle rap comedy capers of Abandoman, Bestival legend and expert shouter Andrew Maxwell, panel show ace and Let’s Dance for Comic Relief star Jarred Christmas, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, 8 out of 10 Cats and Mock the Week regular Daniel Sloss, erstwhile Xtra-factor co-host and Sweat the Small Stuff type Matt Richardson, Impractical Jokers star Joel Dommett and his co-star Paul McCaffrey, the quite unbelievably brilliant Andy Askins and the UK’s most exciting sketch troupe Late Night Gimp Fight.

There will also be appearances from Alistair Barrie, Felicity Ward, Damian Clark, Gordon Southern, Barry Castagnola, Benny Boot, Matt Reed, Wayne Deakin, Kai Humphries, Danny McLoughlin, Ivo Graham, Paul Myrehaug, Lou Sanders, Sarah Bennetto, Alex Edelman, Luke Benson, Hannah George & Matt Hitt and Marcus O’Laoire.

There’s less than sixty days to go until we’re dancing down at the disco and laughing our socks off at this little lot and tickets are flying, so make sure you grab yours while you still can!
