In support of their latest album Wild Light, instrumental glitch-rockers 65daysofstatic are embarking on a 6-date UK tour, arriving at Southampton’s Brook on 26th March; a day ahead of their sold out show at London’s KOKO.

Fusing together the sonics of post-rock with Warp Records-style electronica, this Sheffield outfit are the registrars of a unique musical marriage that invests thoroughly in the energetic, mind-bending and gloriously cinematic.

Their wonderfully complex mix of organic rock elements and powerful IDM has garnered not only praise from every music magazine worth mentioning but has also caught the attention of Robert Smith of The Cure, leading to the band earning a support slot on The Cure’s worldwide arena tour of 2008; allowing the group to demonstrate their formidable live show in front of crowds the size of which they would have never thought imaginable.

If you want a boundary-pushing sensory experience, this is for you.

Support comes courtesy of post-rock three-piece Thought Forms.

Tickets are available here and from The Brook box office. Buy their latest album ‘Wild Light’ here.
