After their incredibly successful tour with Motionless In White last September, bright young things of the British metal scene, The Defiled are embarking on their own headline tour in support of their most recent album Daggers. The No Place Like Home tour kicks off in Nottingham on 8th February.
A list of The Defiled’s past tour mates reads like a who’s who of modern metal, the band have shared stages with the likes of Dragonforce, Godsmack, Murderdolls and of course, the aforementioned Motionless In White. Touring with heavyweights like that has certainly allowed The Defiled to further hone their energetic live shows into something truly impressive. To see The Defiled now is to see a young, vital band at the top of their game pumping out crushingly heavy, yet somehow still catchy, metal anthems. If you’re the sort of person who enjoys getting sweaty and violent in a mosh pit one minute, and then singing your heart out to a stadium-worthy chorus the next, then you won’t want to miss this.
Support on this tour comes from female fronted American shock rockers Butcher Babies and The Killing Lights, a Marylin-Manson inspired metal outfit formerly known as Vampires Everywhere! The tour comes to the Talking Heads in Southampton on the 15th February and tickets are available here
