After the release of their second studio album BE back in June, Beady Eye will play eight dates across the UK this November.

Back in May the band announced new live shows supporting the release of their second album including appearances at festivals; T in the Park and Benicassim. Beady Eye made an unannounced surprise appearance at Glastonbury (even though Liam Gallagher claimed they would never play there again!), opening the festival on the Other Stage at 11am on Friday 28th June. Unfortunately due to guitarist Gem Archer sustaining a head injury, Beady Eye cancelled their August tour dates.

Beady Eye were born out of the break-up of Oasis in 2009 with a point to prove but it seems only Liam has ever seriously entertained the notion that they would become “bigger than Oasis”. Their second album BE follows 2011’s Different Gear, Still Speeding. Both received mixed reviews from both critics and ex-Oasis fans.

Despite the mixed reviews of their music so far, it will be interesting to see how far the rest of the band have come without Noel and where’s there’s a Gallagher, there’s sure to be a riot!

Beady Eye play at Portsmouth Guildhall, November 19th. Tickets can be purchased here.
