This weekend, British singer songwriter Jake Bugg will be embarking on his biggest UK arena tour to date. Beginning in Bournemouth, the singer will perform in a number of UK cities including London and Birmingham. The tour is highly anticipated, with many venues selling out.

Bugg , though just 19, has enjoyed much success this year. In addition to being nominated for the Best Breakthrough Act at the Brits 2013,  his self named titled album has gained certified platinum status and has been nominated for the 2013 Mercury Prize. He was also a favourite on the UK festival scene this summer, performing at Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury.

Bugg’s new album, Shangri La, will be available from 18th November 2013. His new single ‘What Doesn’t Kill You‘ is available for download now. Speaking to Zane Lowe about his forthcoming second album on BBC Radio 1, Bugg said: “It came quick but, for me, music’s what I do to get away from stuff… Even though it’s been crazy, when I have time to myself, it’s me picking up my guitar… I travelled lots and had some crazy experiences, so I had a lot to write about!

Joining Bugg at the Bournemouth International Centre will be Los Angeles duo ‘honeyhoney‘ and British blues-rock band ‘The Family Rain‘ (excluding the 24th/25th of October).
