Preview: Beach Break Live – Main Stage

The UK’s biggest student festival Beach Break Live is under a week away. Here at The Edge we’ve prepared an overview of what to expect for your weekend away at Pembrey Country Park focusing on the music on the main stage.

FRIDAY
The first of the headline acts on the main stage will be one of the UK’s finest artists/producer/wiz-kids of our generation, Labrinth. The special guest for the Friday evening, to our delight, are The Maccabees. With a well received new album under their belt, they should please the crowds at this year’s Beach Break. The final headliners for Friday night are the wonderful Chase & Status.

SATURDAY
Saturday night’s headliners include popular solo artist Maverick Sabre and the successful british electronic music act NERO which are sure to get the crowd going before the main headliner – the and only Dizzee Rascal.

SUNDAY
Sunday evening’s line up consists of DJ Fresh (FRESH LIVE) followed by Wretch 32 and finally the delightful Friendly Fires will be finishing the night and also being the last act of the festival, I’m sure they’ll send all the festival goers home humming ‘Hawaiian Air’.
