Reading and Leeds Festival have added fifty new bands to their already impressive line-up for this year’s August bank holiday weekend.

Just a few weeks after the release of their video for catchy track ‘Heart and Soul’, UK rockers Twin Atlantic will be returning to the NME/Radio 1 stage this year for their fourth appearance at Reading and Leeds. Joining them on this stage are Lonely The Brave, the newcomers that are quickly gathering momentum and fans after the release of their track ‘Trick of the Light’ on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show.

Also added are Southampton trio Band of Skulls, fresh from a support tour with main stage Headliners Queens of The Stone Age. With their heavy guitar riffs and their third album Himalayan released in March, Band of Skulls will certainly be a welcomed addition to this rock-based festival. Palma Violets and Augustines will also join them on the Festival Republic stage.

Earlier this month energetic band The Front Bottoms graced the stage of Southampton Guildhall as a support act, and they will also be performing at this two site festival. Other acts announced include Bipolar Sunshine, Architects and The Kooks. Additional headliners have been added, including duo Blood-Red Shoes and Leeds band Pulled Apart By Horses.

These, and many more, have been added to the line-up. Click here to see the full list.
