This Week in Live brings some modern day stars such as Ed Sheeran and Rixton, as well as industry legends like Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

Monday 6th July

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons: Fans of the film or Broadway smash hit Jersey Boys have the chance to see the real thing, with Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons playing at the Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow. With all-time greats such as ‘Sherry’, ‘December 1963 (Oh, What A Night)’ and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, this is sure to be a fun-filled evening. Valli has one of the most iconic voices the music industry has ever heard, and seeing him in person is something everyone should have on their bucketlist. Tuesday 7th July

Alkaline Trio: American punk rock band Alkaline Trio will be heading to the O2 ABC in Glasgow. The three-piece from McHenry, Illinois are currently touring the UK with Lagwagon and Paws in support. The band haven’t released any new music since 2013’s My Shame Is True, but that will do little to deter their hardcore, loyal following from selling out venues on this tour. Wednesday 8th July

Wu-Tang Clan: Legendary American hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan will be arriving on the south coast to visit the O2 Academy in Bournemouth. The tour comes off the back of the release of their sixth studio album, A Better Tomorrow, which was released at the beginning of December last year. Fans will be looking forward to jumping around to anthems such as ‘Protect Ya Neck’ and ‘C.R.E.A.M’ just a short walk from the seaside. Thursday 9th July

Rixton: Fresh off the back of supporting Ariana Grande on her world tour and Ed Sheeran on his sell-out North American tour, Manchester boy band Rixton will be touching back down in the UK to play a special charity show at IndigO2 at the O2 in London. The four lads have had a massive twelve months, with their debut single ‘Me And My Broken Heart’ going straight in at number one in the UK charts, completing a debut headline UK tour, and releasing their debut album Let the Road last month. Rixton know how to put on a show and have now become accustomed to playing the biggest stages in the world. Friday 10th July

Jessie J: The stage at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre will be graced by singer-songwriter Jessie JThe Voice Australia coach will be bringing her own big voice to perform popular hits such as ‘Price Tag’, ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘Do It Like A Dude’. The tour comes about after the release of her third studio album Sweet Talker last year. The 27-year old, who famously shaved off all her hair for Comic Relief in 2013, will be in Scarborough before travelling to Scotland for T in the Park. Venue and ticket information can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £37.

Saturday 11th July

Ed Sheeran: The world’s favourite singer-songwriter will be performing three dates at Wembley Stadium before travelling to Ireland for two nights at Croke Park in Dublin. Ed Sheeran will have varying support for the three London dates, but Saturday’s will come from drum and bass four-piece Rudimental and rapper Example. The 24-year old has just finished up a massive sold-out North American leg of his tour following the release of his multi-platinum second album, x. With so many popular hits, the 70,000 strong crowd at Wembley Stadium will be singing so loud the whole of London will hear. Tickets for all five of his UK dates are sold out.

Sunday 12th July

McBusted: In 2013, Nineties and Noughties kids went crazy for the news of the formation of a new supergroup between pop-rock favourites McFly and Busted. Those fans will be able to catch McBusted as they headline Forest Live at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire. The group’s self-titled debut album, which was released in December last year, peaked at number nine in the UK album charts, whilst their debut single ‘Air Guitar’ peaked at twelve. However it is the bands’ hits from their previous ventures that gets everyone going, such as ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Year 3000’ by Busted and ‘Star Girl’ and ‘Obviously’ by McFly. Venue and ticket information can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £41.50.
