Monday 29th June

Chance the Rapper: Chancelor Bennett, better know as Chance the Rapper, is an American hip-hop artist deriving from the Chatham neighbourhood of Chicago. The 22-year old has worked alongside the likes of Childish Gambino and Pharrell Williams, whilst his 2013 mixtape entitled Acid Rap was nominated for Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards. Chance the Rapper will be at Electric Brixton in London, ticket information can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £27.50.

The Overtones: London-based harmony group The Overtones will play The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Monday. The five-piece have had four top-ten albums in the UK charts since being scouted by Warner Brothers in 2010, with their debut album, Good Ol’ Fashioned Love, peaking at number four. Tuesday 30th July

Hozier: Irish singer-songwriter Hozier will be at The Forum in London. The 25-year old from Bray’s debut single ‘Take Me To Church’ went straight in at number two in the UK charts in 2013 and has since gone multi-platinum. His debut, self-titled album was also a raging success, peaking at number three in the UK and at number two in the US. For ticket information for this show, you need to contact the venue directly.

Doomtree: Indie hip-hop collective Doomtree are a seven-piece group from Minneapolis in Minnesota. The group released their third studio album in January, which was entitled All Hands. Doomtree is known for having “tangled, multihued and pointedly intellectualized lyrics” with “cerebral rhymes and moody beats”. They play O2 Academy 3 in Birmingham, ticket information can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £10.

Wednesday 1st July

The Cat Empire: The Cat Empire are a ska and jazz band from Australia. The group were formed back in 1999 have released six studio albums, the latest of which, Steal the Light, was released in 2013. Alongside their commercial music work, the six-piece also do a lot of work for charity and have worked with the World Wildlife Fund. Fleetwood Mac: Legendary American-British rock band Fleetwood Mac will be playing the Manchester Arena. The group recently headlined this year’s Isle of Wight festival alongside Blur, The Black Keys and The Prodigy. Between 1968 and 2003 the five-piece have released a staggering total of 17 studio albums, and have embarked on a total of 18 tours. This show is sold out.

Thursday 2nd July

Paolo Nutini: Scottish singer-songwriter and musician Paolo Nutini will be at the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester. His 2006 debut album These Streets, which featured hits such as ‘Last Request’ and ‘New Shoes’, peaked at number three in the UK album charts, whilst his second album Sunny Side Up debuted straight in at number one. His third studio album was released last year. Ticket information can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £42.50.

The Script: Danny O’Donoghue-led pop rock group The Script have released three studio albums since their debut self-titled record topped the UK album charts. Their most recent record, 2014’s No Sound Without Silence, also topped the UK charts. The three-piece band from Dublin in Ireland will be at Thetford Forest near Brandon in Suffolk. Tickets for this show are sold out.

Friday 3rd July

Paloma Faith: Known for her retro and eccentric style, British singer-songwriter Paloma Faith will play Delamere Forest in Cheshire. Her double-platinum debut album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful? was released back in 2009. She won Best British Female Solo Artist at the year’s Brit Awards. She has also had a semi-successful acting career, appearing in the likes of St. Trinian’s and The Imaginarium of Doctor ParnassusThis show is sold out.

Sam Smith: Multi-MOBO, Grammy, Brit, and Billboard Music Awards artist Sam Smith will headline Friday at Forest Live 2015 at Thetford Forest in Suffolk. He earned his first UK number one in 2013 when he featured on Naughty Boy’s hit ‘La La La’. His debut album In the Lonely Hour reached number one in seven different countries and was the second best selling album in the UK of 2014. Tickets for this show are sold out.

Saturday 4th July

AC/DC: Legendary Australian rock band AC/DC will be rocking Wembley Stadium in front of 70,000 fans. The five-piece have been around since 1973 and in that time have released a total of 17 studio albums. The group are perhaps most famous for their 1979 record Highway to Hell. The group were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. This show has sold out.

The Charlatans: English indie rockers The Charlatans will be at the Castlefield Bowl in Manchester. They were formed back in 1989 by bassist Martin Blunt in the West Midlands and since then have released twelve studio albums. Their most recent record, Modern Nature, was released in January of this year. Ticket information for this performance can be found via this link, with tickets priced at £32.50.

Sunday 5th July

Tom Odell: 24-year old singer songwriter Tom Odell will be at the High Lodge Visitor Centre in Thetford Forest. His debut album, Long Way Down, was released back in June of 2013 just a few months after winning the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award. He is signed to record label In the Name Of after being discovered by Lily Allen who said “his energy onstage reminded me of David Bowie”.
