McBusted – ‘Air Guitar’

McBusted-Air-Guitar-2014-1500x1500Having announced that McFly and Busted were to collide and become the six-piece supergroup, McBusted, over a year ago now, the band’s debut single has been both a surprise and highly-anticipated. The new single is entitled ‘Air Guitar’, and features slightly lacklustre lyrics with a lame concept, but delivers to iconic pop-rock sound that has been attached to both bands throughout the 21st century. The single is taken from their upcoming self-titled album, which will be released on 1st December, conveniently coinciding with Christmas. The band also revealed that they are going on tour again next year. Buy the new single tomorrow and listen to it below.

Take That – ‘These Days’

take-that-these-days-coverThe iconic boy band are officially back, with another member down, where they now stand as a trio. ‘These Days’, released tomorrow, will feature on the group’s upcoming album, III. The band have so far released six albums, the latest five having topped the UK charts. The band’s most recent effort, Progress, was released back in 2010 and spawned the singles ‘The Flood’ and ‘Kidz’. The album, available at the beginning of December, will have to battle with Take That’s impressive commercial performance thus far to prove continuing as a trio was the best decision. The band have also recently been confirmed for Capital FM’s Jingle Bell Ball, taking place next month. Listen to the track below.
